Weather is going to be perfect for migration, especially after the cold front that's coming through Thursday!!!

Thanks Greg.Went through town yesterday, but didn't have any sightings. Some day I will get to a hawk watch. Also the butterfly migration. Two "must do's" in my future. After going to Ireland next week. Be looking at the Irish birds for SURE!

Nice catches, Kim!

I just caught one of them working on the scrape (what else is new?). I think it was CJ as I didn't see a red band.

I tried to include two pictures but I got that dreaded message about not being able to determine the dimensions of the images. I'll just have to try again later.

The last time that happened to me I had to change the file name extension (.jpg) from lower case to upper case.

Thanks Kim. I just tried changing the image type to uppercase, but it didn't work!

Feathers this time. One long black tail feather with a white tip, and several wing feathers with lots of rufous toward the base.

Today, one lonely yellow-shafted flicker wing feather, and lots of new feathers from a pigeon.

Not a great picture, but at least there was a visitor earlier today. From the white band on the tip of the tail, I think it was Red Girl.
