I'm not sure if this is an egg or not, but I think it's new.

The nest was empty for a while, then one chick appeared:

Later there were three:

A parent came in with food - and all four chicks were in the nest to be fed!

One of our newest members, a008292 (aka Tony), has been an avid falcon fan and supporter for many, many years. He's still figuring out how the forum works and how to post pictures, so he asked me to post these banding pics from the Jasper County Power Plant nest (Indiana)...but first, a little history..in Tony's own words:

I worked for twenty eight years with a utility in a Jasper County Power
Plant. During these years a nesting box was installed on one of the stacks.
In the 90's the installation of a web cam was put into service. The cam was
down as the pair moved away from the stack. In 2011 it was found to have
reestablished a residence in the stack and the cam maybe activated soon.
Over the 15 years working with the DNR all have enjoyed being part of the
banding process. I have shot after shot of these beautiful birds still and
would be happy to share these with you.

......Some projects.... Wetland dedication, IDNR falcon box (webcam), deer managment
with the USDA (ADC). Wildlife problems - skunks, racoons, wild cats, many more than I
can think of .... it was a great life and I would never trade it for a minute.
