THANKS FOR THE REPORT GREG AND THE PICTURE ETHEL! I WAS CHECKING OFF AND ON TODAY AND DIDN'T CATCH EITHER ONE. SO GLAD THEY ARE BOTH STILL THERE. NOBODY SAW LIL DAD IN HARRISBURG TODAY, BUT NG WAS AROUND MORE THAN USUAL TOO. WONDERING IF HE TOOK OFF AGAIN LIKE THE YEAR BEFORE LAST. I SURE HOPE NOT!

Well, went through through the city yesterday, but you could hardley see the car in front of you, let alone the Falcon's. The weather has been terrible. Can't imagine how they can hunt in this.

The Eagles (pair), were at the River yesterday again, the third day in a row, in the same tree. Dave saw them fly at dusk, together, over the Shop, in the direction of Bellevue Park. Maybe they nest there at night. Should take my camera on Monday!

One of the falcons is on the box ledge. Not sure who. First one I've seen in a week or so.

There are two falcons up there now. Looks like CJ on the box ledge and Red Girl four ledges to the left (southeast).

Hmmm. From the evidence, Red Girl and CJ don't think that the woodcock season is open yet. Maybe the Delaware regs are different from the Pennsylvania ones.

Three Rivers Avian Center
The last peregrine from this year's hack at Grandview will be released on Friday (12/2/2011) at North Overlook at Grandview (New River Gorge National River) at 12:30 pm. Pink/Purple has healed up from an attack of asprigillosis, and she is in great health and fitness. Come see the last young peregrine to be released this year!
