Nope....but for all we know, this PF is passing through...but, it apparently likes this box...Conclusion: Resident birds SHOULD NOT migrate!!!

However...wouldn't we like a different male? Was this the nest where the male was a tad "odd"?

This is the male that broke all the eggs for many years in a row, then the year Sampson was born, he managed to not break one. The following year (last year) he didn't break any; however, it was reported that he was with the chicks when the 3rd chick was born & he fed it to the other 2 chicks!

That video was kinda strange. She seemed to be doing a half-sway (like Trooper, only he did a full one). Also, she was bowing lower than females are supposed to, so maybe this is her first nest?

They zoomed in...unfortunately, they didn't focus too well...I'm guessing they know this is a different female...

I hope you hear back from them...and that they have ID'd her...if it does turnout to be 57/H, that would make her less than a year old...and would she even lay eggs?

I think this is the male...I thought he was gonna go into the box...but, nope..

Not that I'm obsessing or anything ( )..but the more I think about it, this can't be the plumage of an 11 month old bird. Don't you think we'd see more streaking? Maybe it isn't a 57/H...I hope you hear back from them, KF.

Your talking the OCD queen here SGB & I was thinking if it was that young you'd see streaking but you just never know.
I wish they would get back to me but last yr they never did when I emailed them a couple times so thats not looking good.

I researched plumage...and PF's don't start getting their adult plumage until the second (or was it the first~back to the research...knew I should have written it down) spring molt...(unless I read that wrong)...so, now I'm really thinking we have the wrong numbers...look at IndyFroona..and she was born on 2009...she has more streaking than this bird!!! I gotta get a life.
