Good evening everyone I just talked to my sister rosekk who is downtown right now watching a game at clippers stadium.She told me she can see one of our falcons sitting on the west side of the Rhodes Tower.I'm not sure if she can capture a picture that far off,but maybe she will make a report when she gets home tonight.Have a great evening

Hello Everyone - well, I was very negligent - I didnt get to get on the computer all weekend - it was one of those weekend when you go back to work to rest - lol

Thank you Jane for reporting about my sightings of the falcon on the west ledge of the tower - I could not believe it myself, the one falcon sat there for close to two hours and I even think I saw the other one on the ledge next to him/her but the flag at the park kept blocking the view. I took a picture too but it would be very blurry because we were fairly far away and only had the smaller camera lens. I will look at it again tonight and post what I have. I am sorry for not writing sooner as this will be old news.It is great to know that you can see the Rhodes tower from the ball park. I was rather amazed and excited. I spent just as much time watching it than I did the ball game until it got too dark to see it. Unfortunatly, the Clippers lost the game but we had great seats and the new park is very nice.

Never old news if you are speaking of falcons rosekk! It's wonderful that you saw them there, Durand watching over your city from far up. Thanks.

That is very cool, Rosekk17....I can't believe you were able to spot one from so far away....now we just need to convince one of them to perch on a lamp post above you so that you can get an awesome pic!!!

I was totally excited to see the ledge from my seat in the ballpark. I knew that the ballpark was visible from the observation floor but I did not realize how clearly one could see the ledge. I know, too, to check that ledge from Broad and High Street every time that I am downtown; I had very rarely if ever, (Trooper was on that ledge when Spirit was out and about) seen a falcon on those ledges (west side of the building). Here I would be sitting facing the south side when all along they would be sitting on the west side.
