Is this the right link to the cam?: http://ccb-wm.org//vafalcons/falconcam/ ... ich1_1.htm

It is stuck on 7:20:28, and I don't see the chick, but I am not that familiar with this nest. (Edit: The refresh is working now.)

Here we go....!!! I hope someone is monitoring the cam...its aimed pretty high and we're not gonna be able to see her come out...so, hopefully, they'll lower it...

So bitter sweet...our little girl is gonna be leaving...

I should have no input on her name as I haven't watched this nest much this season. Have names been proposed?

WE didn't start throwing out names until Tuesday...slow or what...

Mischa
Ginny

I've been trying to find an appropriate Native American Name...The tribe in the Richmond area was the Powhatans...but they have a lost language...

Just came back for a quick stop before I have to leave. Harriett and Ozzie were both very aggressively protecting their girl. She sat on the ledge and the box as they put the ice on, screaming and swooping. Ozzie joined in the fun, also swooping very close. Brooms were no match for the momma protecting her precious baby
There were state dignitaries up on the roof with DGIF and they got quite a show! I hoping she waits until I'm back. I'll do a ground report from my phone when I get there this afternoon!

Thanks for the report, obxbarb. I hope she waits, too. She's finally venturing out into the cage area.

I can't remember -- does the door ease open or does it quickly snap open?
