I wonder if whatever that box is that she's laying on is cool--she seems to like laying there.

Could that be any more confusing? Probably because I'm not used to that format...

OK, somebody posted on 8/4 that their husband found a dead peregrine this past spring and didn't do anything? That's crazy!!! And they didn't look to see if it had bands? I'm gonna go say something on the Soarin Hawk facebook page...

Yeah, that's my understanding. It's kind of hard to maneuver in the threads. That would correspond to the last time anyone saw him.

I was thinking the same as all of you but I really didn't want to say anything til i got your opinions on the one post from that lady.
I'm just confused if they knew the nest is there and can see it that clearly why didn't they get hold of someone when they found the bird? Maybe its like some others that think its a falcon and its really a hawk or something to that effect. I think I like that idea better

Kitten, I was thinking the exact same thing. Besides, a falcon crashing through a fence? That would put the falcon quite low. Not that its never happened, but in addition to the other questions, I also question that. This is very similar to the story of someone having found Harrisburg Mom's body--it just doesn't sound right.

Well, I tried posting on Soarin Hawk's Facebook page...but I guess "you" can't do that because my post disappeared...I just don't know what to think...but, its too much of a coincidence for me...I'm still holding out hope that Roosevelt will show up, though...
