Oh good grief, I've missed the 3rd fledge too. :pumprolleye:

I'm looking at the video of the fledge and just see the juvie sitting in the doorway the whole time. Maybe something is wrong with my computer, wouldn't be the first time.

Thanks SGB for posting the picture of the structure. I bet they have steps that lead up to it but I don't imagine it'd be fun carrying a terrified juvie up there not to mention the parents dive bombing.

That mean little willy wagtail.
Thanks for looking it up SusanE.

Beautiful fledge & thanks for the video & all the great commentary! Looks like this one stayed nice & high, at least for a while! I was watching him last night between cam freezes & he kept doing the same things, bobbing his head & putting his wings out to the side which our local falcon watchers say is a prelude to fledging.

There is an update on the webpage about Ophir fledging, & they're saying that these juvies should be around for a few months yet. Maybe they'll decide to visit their "home" & we'll get to see them again!

Edit: Well, that might not happen because it appears that the cams have been shut off... :girlsad3:

I think that they shut the cams of for the night and only in daytime the cams are running. Now it is dark there.

I really appreciate the warm welcome. I don't know that much about how to work this computer right now, but I will be learning. I would like to be able to record and post by the time the next season starts. I have watched/read all the falcon nest posts from the 2011 season.Lots of smiles and some tears. Love Emily and Ophir. Don't love Alcoa

Great news--thanks, SGB! So they think 2 of the kids are girls. Well, I guess they can see them better than we could, but I think our general consensus was that they were all the same sex. But that doesn't matter; what matters is that they are all safe & a big plus is that they're all together again! :ok:

I wasn't really sure what they were...I was leaning toward one girl, one boy, and one "I don't know"....I actually thought the last two in the box were 1 girl, 1 boy...

Nice video, SGB! Nice to get a peek of the surrounding area & also to see people associated with the falconcam so that we can put a face with a name! :lovingturkey:
