I think the still cam is shut down, but the live one works when the wind doesn't blow it over! :ny4:

Hi all !
Thanks for announcing the news Adriaantje ! :-)
I am very hopeful that the quality and reliability of our web diffusion will be greatly improved. I can't wait to receive our new equipment and get the cameras back to life !
I also have a third camera that I plan to install.

Cheers

Eve

Good catch catwoman and good move on that camera. Wonder what that is there, too small for a window I think. Looks kinda like those louvers where warm air comes out, which would expain why they sit there so much.

Hi !
Yes these are vents but I don't believe warm air is coming out or we would see smoke I think... Plus the snow on the white blocks would melt ! I think they hang out there because they can be relatively safe from the wind by moving close to the building inside the little alcove created by the vent.

The live nest camera is back in function as of yesterday - as soon as we have a warmer day I will go up there to check out cam #2 and clean the nestbox a little. The sound is not very good as there is an annoying background noise, I am not too sure what is causing it... I also noticed that the camera is not working 100% in night mode as you can see on the archives photos... but it's better than nothing for now!!

Last year our first copulation was on Feb 26.
You can see videos of Spirit and Roger in the box this morning on my blog:
