This is a fun cam Nancy...We watched it two years ago but for some reason
we didn't get it in 2008 and maybe (now) the cam is only on for the weekends (?)

Wait till you see all the snow... ;)

The cam is spectacular in the winter. There is a China documentary on the travel channel that included a spot that looked like this. The documentary is well worth watching.

I'd love to be able to get the Travel Channel but my cable company doesn't carry it. :( Can't wait for Fios to get to my neighborhood, then I'll have it! :pepper I love seeing other countries & cultures & try to catch any of PBS' travel documentaries!

What is the required education to become a Wildlife Biologist? I'm going to college for a Bachelor's on Biological Sciences. However, I'm not sure if that would be enough to become a Wildlife Biologist. And if it isn't, can I still work at something related with just a Bachelor's while going back to obtain 2 more years?

:wavingsnowgirl: klejandara :welcome to BCAW! It is good to have you here.

You might want to pose your question in the OVER THE FENCE -- DAILY CHAT area where it will get more visibility. Some of our members are in daily contact with wildlife biologists, so they should be able to get your question answered.

Hubby saw a write up on Sympatico news last night I finally found it. If I checked out the bears section on Hancock I would have had it sooner. Some good stuff posted there http://bcspiritbear.com/ or http://bcspiritbear.com/ They go Live 10 am ET, I guess it would be 7am PT
I started to join this place http://spiritbear.ning.com/ but said forget it it. It took them forwever to approve me
