We were painting the window sills today & one bedroom door didn't get shut. Buttons jumped on the sill, acrylic latex. We managed to get a lot of paint off buts it's still in the fur part of his feet. A lot of fighting. He acts as if one front paw hurts. Not limping. Must have slid when he landed back on floor. Blue paw prints on bedroom floor.. Hopefully the rest will war off in the litterbox. I hope that Big bumble bee didn't sting him. Had to chase him away while we caught the bee in jar & put it outside again. . I think when I do livingroom windowsill I will shut both futkids in the bedroom or on balcony

Today I'm finishing in the livingroom while Buttons is SLEEPING. He seems to have chewed or worn off what was still on his fur after we tried washisng his paws, Seems ok, Crossing my Paws, will look for blue fur in litterbox LOL

glad to get the good report Pat.

My son tells me of a sort of similar situation with his kitty Tesla who jumped in an empty, except cleaning] pot of homemade caramels. She was a sticky gooey mess and not happy about her personal cleanup either. Wish he had taken pictures.

Well I just lost a few years of my life. I thought Buttons snuck out when the plumber came to see if I had a leak in kitchen, I run down a few flights, then thought I'd phone my daughter to help.ran up a few flights. The little bugger was standing in the dining room. I looked everywhere. kitchen cupboards, bathroom cupboards closets, Fridge even. Little stinker has a new hiding place. usually when I rattle his treats he's like that cat on TV, thru a wall for them. Complete panic attack. I'm still shaking, There's was me runing everywhere yelling Buttons, even down the stairwell. Wonder what the neighbours thoughti

Pat - What a beautiful picture of Buttons on the Exercycle! He looks so innocent and laid back, who'd think he'd step on the freshly painted windowsill and leave little blue footprints all over! And if that weren't enough, to disappear when the plumber was there and almost give you a heart attack!

I think you probably already have all the material it takes to write a book, "The Adventures (and Misadventures) of Buttons."
