Hello all,
Probably some of you remember me, I am Erna, from Ingrid's Dutch forum.
And this is my sweet little Kika from Granada.
I found her here
http://www.granadapadul.com/.
Kika was rescued by Granada Padul and it's very clear that her life before, was sad and she is beaten.
In june I travelled to Brussel airport, were she arrived after a few hours travelling from Malaga.
Now Ingrid thought it was a good idea to post here for a good reason:
Since Kika has been in my life, there is quite a lot changed.
I could not suspect that one month after her arrival I became member of the team of Granada Padul. In mid-July I was approached by the foundation with reference to the movie of Kika, her arrival at the airport:

If I could maybe spare a little time to maintain their weblog:
http://granadapadul.blogspot.com I said yes immediately, because I wanted to be very keen on it to do something for the foundation through which I had found Kika. Now daily I recieve masses photos and stories of among other things lucky dogs, of smarting events, of hopeful events, etc. From the photos I make movies accompanied by music and I keep everything up to date. It takes a lot of time, but I really like to do it, I get involved in the activities and are doing in addition a number of other things for the foundation. It means that since then I am much less present at the forum than in the past..
In the small village of Padul, where the refugio is located, Ana & Jesus still do their work every day. The department Nederland existed 4 October a year and 150 dogs found a home in that year. There are still many laggards.
But they can at any moment to be told that they must leave immediately, with all dogs that are still there.
Meanwhile they are working hard and with heart on a new refugio for the dogs and I hope you check out the blog. Send if necessary as many people as possible, especially those who love animals, dogs, the link of this blog. Granada Padul can use HELP in many ways. It is a foundation among many foundations, but they are small and they are doing a very good job and are taking care for their asylum dogs there with such a foundation’s love, that I could tell by the way when I got Kika. A drop in the ocean, some say. That may be, but they are working hard to raise awareness to treat animals, in this case dogs, otherwise and that takes a long time. But a drop or not, every rescued dog is a rescued dog and I know that and Kika too.
Kika which is now a lucky dog, is happy and at this time she is lying rolled up on my feet. She has wandered and been bullied and beaten untill she came at Ana & Jesus. For this foundation, I would like do to my best and calling for help in whatever form it takes.
Thank you for your attention.
With love,
Erna
