will post photos later but both have been to nest, a lot o f racket when they come, but I think just on edge.

EC found , which I believe to be their roosting tree with them in it. Just my opinion but they were both in it at dark.

hopefully things back to normal soon.

no one has been back to nest since I took these. have seen som e soaring in distance and EC has panned and we saw a few eagles, soaring . just a bout 30 minutes ago I saw 2 fly quickly out north of nest and then one came in high and south and one came close to nest and veered east. So maybe stuff still going on and maybe they decided to nest elsewhere. but we wait. maybe tonight

I have 2 short videos of fly byes by nest just a bit ago but will post if time

visitor a few times this morning. I think one at least was our female. will post photos later
female to remote tree with one following her, it veered off and went east
Female came int o nest with a fish. a mal e cam e in a bit later while she was eating and she was not happy but settled down. Hard to tell who. It was very watchful

It left and F continued to eat. Back it comes , this time she did not stop eating so she seemed comfortable. I am hoping this is Skippy, but not sure. sure he was ever watchful and then left. She continued eating till finished . She is still on nest.
back with photos after I am done teaching grandkids
hope this is a good sign

Do not think Skippy, tail darker.
A male came into top of nest tree and then a bit lower down . Female on a nest tree branch. But anther eagle comes flying in and male comes to nest. Eagle few around but then flew off.

Do not want to pull photos yet as want cam up.

They do both look regal at nest.

jan17- early morning visit by 2 eagles.
female was tolerant of male. she rooted in nest but not nest building. seemed to be looking for scraps.
cant even say who they are at present . were not there long.
They both came from west as I look at cam and flew out east. Hop e this is not just becoming a resting zone. we wait,

pictures as soon as I get things going

I have a lot of pictures to post. quiet day, as both started off here. It seems to me that same eagle keeps coming back and forth as if looking for the other eagle.

no one driving cam so could not tell with this last visit but it just seems eerie.

pictures
early this morning. male I think came from west as I look at cam
Image
Image
female in( she was in remote tree. di d no t see an eagle there till sh e flew over)
Image

seemed comfortable with each other
Image
Image
one left , then the other
Image

they left and then this one came in, was on front branch and then cam e into nest. they pulled cam in on tail feathers. do not think injury and eagle was wet, as if bathing and , just my thought, red from prey. I have seen them completely covered after eating a messy meal. But who knows at this point. anybody's guess. hopefully no t injured. did not seem hurt in any way.

Image
Image
Image
Image
eagle left and this one in
Image
Image
Image

it starts to fly off
Image

this on e in, does not stay
Image
Image

this one in( same tail)
Image
Image
leaves, then this on e in , calls and out
Image

Just one male and one female is all we need

just a bit ago
I believe it was a male, same one, I believe, in on outlying branch calling at about 6:43pm. stayed a few minutes and left.
hope he finds who he is looking for.

Please forgive me for documenting so much. this has been such a roller coaster and I am just posting pictures etc. to help me keep it all together.

they have beautiful sunsets :15heartbeat: thank Ferenz

they stayed the night, but just after 6am, moss man, after he and female were in nest bowl,( male), slipped off branch when he went from nest bowl to branch and flew toward snag tree. quite humorous. on e was on a branch lower down so you hard to see
I saw him fly from there, east( as I look at cam) and then female left in a bit. sh e lay in nest bowl for a bit, which Ferenz has posted.

they seem to spend night and then are away most day.

well we have two attacks this evening so far. young adult was on with female. they both worked on nest . and then he flew up to a left branch . I believe it was mossman who flew in and was maybe not expecting other eagle . they both went to ground and both flew off.

later young adult came back and was very wary and then settled on branch to right of female. when in came the other eagle again and both flew off. tail looked like mossman but cannot say for sure.

now at 8:51, young adult is back

sure hope this quiets soon.
Poor female. I have done 3 videos . They are not perfect like the mods but done quickly

I will be back with photos and videos

female in first thing this morning
Image

female left and then young adult flew to snag, left in a few minutes( black 0n tail)
Image

young adult to tree after 4pm
Image
Image

Image

female and young adult in after 6
Image

young adult in nest and female on branch
Image

male briefly lies in nest
Image

he and female were working in nest( different cams showed different things. some had night light on and some, night light was not on yet
Image

position of male in tree
Image

first attack happened, which I will post video of

then young adult cam e back to tree and was on left of female
Image
young adult to right of female
Image
second attack

Image
1. young adult 2. female 3. intruder( possibly mossman)
Image

young adult back
Image

female on right and young adult on right
Image

here are videos. I did all 4 cams together as you can see different things on each cam. I actually believe the intruder( who I think is mossman)did not see young adult in tree and thought female was there alone. Moss man had spent night with female on Jan18. He appeared to just fly up to nest and then young adult , of course , jumped him, from above

first intrusion
Video link
https://youtu.be/EOA0emy-hzE

second intrusion .

Video link
https://youtu.be/6cO0_buJvN8

I really hop e this all settles . Poor female at least this young adult is working on nest.
