:buzzybee: Overhead nest cam and other upgrades coming! The video below by Eagle Country shows and is narrated by Jessa, the ranch owner's daughter, who gives a re-cap of this season with pics and of upgrades coming:

:5val:

They are upgrading for season 2:

REBUILDING FOR SEASON TWO & YOU CAN HELP US!

Hello Eagle Country Friends!

Dandy & Spur have both fledged and are off to start their own adventures! We wish them well and we are still reviewing the fun of Season #1. Highs, lows, ups, downs and unknowns, it was all amazing and we are glad so many enjoyed it together with us!

That being said, permanent fledging only means one thing for us here at Eagle Country - Prep for Season #2! There has been and still is lots to do and we are making headway every day. Season #2 will come with many upgrades and improvements and we are excited.

As you know, technology is not cheap and our investment has been substantial. We are thrilled to share the experience of Eagle Country with you all and want to ask if you would like to be a part of continuing to make all of this happen.

We are looking to raise $20,000 to cover last season and (most) of the upgrades for Season #2.

To all of you who have supported us - we thank you! The encouragement from our viewers is what is driving us to want to make it better and even more enjoyable for you!

You can give directly here via PayPal or credit card, or if you would prefer a check, our mailing address is below.

Please feel free to share this post and video. For any who may not have Facebook, they can access this same video and information as well as donate on our website: www.eaglecountry.net/donate.

Again, we thank you and look forward to seeing you for Season #2!

:7val: Cams are live! Victoria and Nicholas have returned from their summer vacation!! Eagle country has new cams with new views. I was able to bring up only 2/3 cams. But, we will be able to see inside the nest bowl this season!! Here is an excerpt from their announcement today:

Eagle Country is live now.
2 hrs ·
Welcome to the 2019-2020 Season of Eagle Country!

For opening week of our new season we will be streaming LIVE here. We’ve added additional cams with new views which will stream live 24/7 to our YouTube and our webpage at eaglecountry.net. We are excited to launch into the new season and are looking forward to pulling up a chair with morning coffee and watching all of the adventures unfold before us! To all EC friends, old and new, we’re glad you’re here!

Our resident eagles, Victoria and Nicholas, have returned from their “summer break” to begin their “nestorations.” Their journey has just begun and we get a front row seat!

By adding our additional cams, we’ll be able to see views of the eggs during incubation as well as cows roaming around the pasture. Our other two cams are similarly positioned and should allow us to see a great range of eagle activities.

:7val: When I was here earlier today, I did get to see Nicholas and Victoria on the nest. Still having trouble getting the cams from here. I went out to You Tube and was able to pull up all 4 cams offered. Here I only get options for 3 cams and still can only pull up 2 of them. The 4 new cam options are: Main, Overhead, Cam 3, Cow Cam. Nobody home right now.

:7val: Between 7:40 and 7:54 on the DVR, I found Nicholas arriving to the nest twice with sticks to place and some grooming on the nest.

:leafrock: Both Nicholas and Victoria, sometimes together and sometimes alone, have made several trips to the nest and tree this morning since a little after 7. Nobody is home now.

:1val: At 7:02, very heavy-duty, nestorations continue as one of them has to man-handle a large, unwieldy, branch that is caught on the floor of the nest!
