:1val: Hickory and Mossy are the only ones I can see tonight and they are on separate branches of the nest tree. One sleeping with their head tucked and the other preening.

:girlsad3: For the 1st time, I find nobody on the tree or nest tonight. Someone is on the tree between the 2 snags, but who?

The proverbial "spreading their wings". :loveshow: It's what we all hope for but it sure is a bittersweet moment.

:1val: It really is, gigi! I want what is best for them, but always feel better when I can see them at the end of the day! A parent and maybe Mossy are on the near snag tonight ... I think. They have a close-up on cam 3.

I have no doubt that both kiddos will be back for a meal or just to visit a familiar place for a siesta. :flirty:

:1val: A couple hours ago one of the parents flew from the near snag to the far snag and another eagle was already there as they moved a little when the other one landed. Too dark to see them if still there now. Mossy is on the nest tree tonight!

:1val: Both Mossy and Hickory can be seen sleeping on the tree tonight from cam 3. Don't see either parent. Highly recommend the video "Mo Shoots-Mo Scores!" on YT.

:1val: I think it is Mossy on a branch of the nest tree. Someone is on the left side of the tree between the snags and one on the near snag.

:1val: Mossy and Hickory were both on the tree about an hour and a half ago, but I can't find them now.

:1val: Can't see anyone right now, but think 2 eagles are on the tree between the snags or at least they were as darkness fell. I saw a wing flap at that time. Mossy and Hickory could be seen around 5:44 from cam 3 before they flew. One returned later, but flew again.

:1val: Not sure, but maybe Victoria and Mossy are on the far snag. Great close-up on cam 3. When Mossy came in earlier to the snag, he seemed to be food begging.

:1val: Dad just brought lunch to Mossy on the nest and Hickory showed up a minute later and is currently trying to steal. Well apparently it was just a snack and I think Mossy was able to down it before Hickory could take from him. Just found this notice and I am surprised they are closing down before Hickory and Mossy disperse. Counting today we have only 5 more days with these eagle. From EC:

**To all Friends of EC, we will be closing cams/chat this Friday, May 29 at end of day. Hickory & Mossy seem to flourishing! What a great season! Thank you all so much for watching, viewing, commenting, chatting and cheering our EC eagle family on! See you next season!**

:1val: I think it is Mossy on a branch of the nest tree tonight and someone is on the upper part of the far snag, although too dark to see now.

:1val: Can't get the cam views to change tonight, so all I have is the main cam and I suspect it is Mossy's talons and occasional glimpse of his head when he moves that I see on the left branch.
