I think Ma is lying on the nest right now and Pa was there earlier. I am unable to get it off the DVR and have the COD!

Both have visited the nest this morning, beginning a little before 6:00. They are gone now.

Ma Berry flew in at 2:41 this afternoon to the nest. I was trying to watch her visit, but the cam advanced to the current time and there is the COD. Chat seems to be frozen too. Hopefully, it will be working before it drops off the DVR.

Cams started working again and I was able to finish Ma's visit from above. Unfortunately, a mockingbird terrorized Ma for almost her entire stay. It kept dive bombing her and she almost lost her balance several times. I was surprised she stayed as long as she did. She flew out the back of the nest at 1 point, only to return within the minute. It was quieter for awhile, although you could hear her tormentor in the background. Then it started up again. Finally she left at 3:05 for good.

Cam 2 is down now, so none of them are working. No messages from Berry that I could find.

Berry College Eagles
1 hr ·
As we begin to prepare for the 2019-20 eagle season, we wanted to provide a quick update with plans for the year.

· We will be replacing the two nest cameras and plan to mount the approach cam up a bit higher on the pole

· The website will be transitioned over to the new look of the Berry College site

· The Tumblr blog account will cease and updates will be posted directly to the Berry website in addition to Facebook

· We will be transitioning from Livestream chat to a new chat product that allows for more robust filtering of content and moderation

These changes are all geared at making the eagle watching experience more enjoyable for all and we will share additional information in the weeks to come. As always, your support is appreciated, and donations to the Berry Eagles account makes it easier for us to cover annual expenses associated with operating the cameras.

Thank you!

:buzzybee: All is well, both Ma and Pa were on the nest this morning! The mockingbird has a nest nearby and continues to pester Ma. Both Ma and Pa brought in sticks to place per chat.

:spring1: Ma and Pa were both on the nest this afternoon! He was doing nestorations and bringing and placing sticks. They were a little "spatty" with each other and can still be seen on the DVR. He was here off and on for about 2 hours and she for a little more than 3 1/2 hours (2:22-6:02) till the mocking bird finally ran her off.

:spring1: Pa to the nest at 11:27 doing some minor floor work and just hanging out. At 12:53, he decided to lie in the nest bowl till seeing Ma flying toward the nest at 1:12. He left at 2:24 and returned at 2:31 with a stick for placement. He re-arranged some other sticks already on the nest. He left at 2:45 with Ma following at 2:48. She participated very little with the nestorations, mainly keeping an eye on Pa. Her foot is nearly at a 90 degree angle now.
