As I have believed that Pa and Mom have been tending to a 2nd nest with young, now I must consider another nest failure for them. Today I was able to witness both on the cam nest together several times. They also had an intruder doing flyovers, but I couldn't tell if a hawk, immature or an adult bald eagle. Regardless, tonight both Pa Berry and Mom have chosen to spend the night on the cam nest tree which means nobody is watching over young at the other nest. Pa is in one of his usual spots above the nest on a branch and Mom can be seen on a rear left, branch sleeping with her head tucked.

Pa and Mom mated before they left after having spent the night on Monday as above. I know Pa was in a couple times today back to back and with a stick delivery although he didn't stay long. Unknown if anyone sleeping on the tree tonight as the AC is down.

Per chat Pa stopped by the nest at least a couple times today (3/5). Unknown if anyone spending the night on the tree as the AC remains down.

Me too, Beth. Eventually we could see it take some of our adults, I fear.

Pa and Mom came in together this morning to the nest. I think Pa was in a couple times and once with a stick to place. He showed up at dusk I guess and flew and they were unsure if he flew out or probably to his sleeping spot on the tree. The AC remains down and unable to check. But tonight, a little before 12:55 am I heard Pa vocals and it was obvious he was on the nest tree. Maybe he will stop by the nest before he leaves, but usually he flies out around 7:00 am without making any stops.

A quick catch up. They were still coming and spending the nights together on the tree in recent weeks since the probable nest failure of their 2nd nest. Then Pa was the only one spending the night on the nest tree and then he quit showing up. Have not seen either recently. (Myself) will be leaving the hospital after over 3 weeks and plan on watching them from rehab. Will post if I am able. I hope to return some day. Love you Pa Berry!

Chat reported that most likely it was Pa Berry who stopped by the nest for about 13 minutes at 10 this morning. Prior he had been on a lower branch on the left side of the tree for about 20 minutes with only the tip of his wing showing on cam 1 as he raised it a couple of times to preen or possibly move about. The AC was down. An eagle only showed up a couple times this summer that was seen.

Their absence is suggesting they will not nest here again this year as it is only a couple days till October ...

The young eagles are staying the night at Berry. She for now can be seen on the approach cam on the left branch. He is on the rear branch and can be seen on the nest cam. While young, they seem to be developing a relationship.
