:7val: Pa arrived to the nest kinda late tonight at 7:37. He was panting, so I think he was hot. He did some aeration work, then stood before flying 4 minutes after arrival. There have been some cam problems, but I have not seen Ma since Thursday morning, over 4 days ago. Hope she is okay.

:7val: Ma is okay, she arrived to the nest at 7:15 with Pa on her heels! They started on aeration work right away and then some rearrangement of sticks by Pa. He went to the right limb and out of sight at 7:15, while Ma stood on the nest. He returned to the left limb at 7:17 with a stick to place. He flew 4 minutes later. Ma remained standing on the nest until she flew out the rear and into the back woods at 7:35.

:7val: Going back on the DVR, Ma was already on the nest at 4:24 and it appears she may have spent the night here. I checked last eve and did not see her, but she could have been on a branch and out of sight. Pa arrived at 7:11. Ma flew out the rear a couple of minutes later and Pa followed at 7:14.

:leafrock: Pa in with a small stick at 8:18 to place and arrangement of another. He stayed about 3 minutes before flying to the branch on the right and off. He returned at 8:22 with a large, unwieldy, stick that he trimmed and placed. He rested and then flew out the front of the nest at 8:27. Only to return for a 3rd time at 8:32 with a long stick to place on the rails. He flew out the rear and into the back woods at 8:35.

:1val: Pa came in at 2:44 to arrange the rail and left about 4 minutes later. Back again at 2:51 with a very large, unwieldy, stick that he was forced to manhandle before leaving 3-4 minutes later.

:7val: Ma and Pa currently on the nest with her arriving at 7:04 and Pa 5 minutes later with a very small, stick. He did some work on the nest, but something I have noticed more of this season is his nipping at Ma. She can not move out of his way easily and he wastes no time in getting in his nips every opportunity he gets. He flew up to the branch on the left at 7:41, then away. Ma may spend the night here. She's lying in the bowl at 7:48.

:7val: Ma did spend the night on the nest and can still be seen on the DVR until 7:19 when she flew out the rear of the nest. Pa flew in with a stick for the rails at 7:53. After rail work, he flew at 7:57!

:7val: Pa in at 12:44 with a long stick to place. After several attempts about the rails, he finally found the perfect spot. Ma flew in with a stick about 5 minutes later. She left it where she landed with it. Pa started moving sticks around and then rested. The wind seems to be picking up. He flew at 1:10 and returned about 4 minutes later with a large stick and placed. Ma flew at 1:23 and Pa about 4 minutes later.

Ma was still on the nest when Pa arrived at 6:54. He played around on the nest floor a bit and even rested on the floor by lying down a short while and then he started bringing nesting material toward his chest. He flew to the left branch at 7:05 and leaned over to trim a part of the rail and flew within a minute. Ma flew a couple minutes later to the back woods. Pa returned with a small stick at 7:09. Still windy there. He flew to the back woods about 7 minutes later.

:7val: Ma was on the nest at 5:16 as far back as the DVR would go. I believe she spent the night. I check in the later eve each night for her presence on the nest and what branches I can see and I did not see her last eve. I believe she could be on a branch out of view maybe and dropping down into the nest at some point during the night. Moving forward on the DVR, sometimes she is standing and sometimes she is lying on the nest. Pa joined her at 7:32 with a small stick to place to the rails. She flew out the rear at 7:38, while Pa was moving sticks on the floor. He always stops to see where she is going when she leaves. He kept an eagle eye for her till she returned at 7:39 with a large stick. It got tangled with a heavy one already on the rails, so she needed to move the heavy one and used Pa's back as a fulcrum to move it to the right, front, rail. After more work by Pa, Ma started to fly out the rear, but an unwieldy stick was in her way. Pa was trying to trim it and they had a prolonged "dust up" as each tried to move and/or trim it. She flew at 7:53. He watched her and then continued to try to trim his stick. He flew at 8:01 out the rear. Pa returned with another stick at 8:36 and continued his work till flying out the rear about 6 minutes later. Ma returned at 9:05 with a large stick to place and she looks a little wet. She tussled with that heavier stick from earlier and eventually placed it to the right rail. She stood around for quite awhile and flew out the rear at 10:06.

:15heartbeat: Pa flew in lickety split from the rear woods pulling toward his right to make it between his forked branch on the rear to make a perfect landing on the nest at 1528!! Then he pretty much stood around until flying off the left branch at the front of the nest about 17 minutes later.

:teehee: We'll catch Ma on a limb now before she sneaks into the nest in the middle of the night ...

:5val: (And love seeing Ma in flight in this photo.)

:7val: Pa flew into the nest at 7:38 with Ma showing up seconds later. After some aeration work together, Ma settles some and Pa flies up to the left branch and away about 6 minutes after arriving. Ma is going to spend the night, I think ...
