TUESDAY TUCK-IN: Many thanks to the chatters for doing the tucking tonight......well, at least Gabby! She is fully tucked on the Wallenda branch. Samson is likely perched across the street at the ET or in the LY. He may just join her sometime during the night. SED to everyone!

WEDNESDAY TUCK-IN: Pwhite, a busy night at the nest by our stars indeed! Ground Crew, Glenn, and I were at the LY covering that while y'all had the cams to view the action. They never arrived at the LY but were spotted perched side by side at the ET after they flew from the nest before 6pm. With the noreaster we are having, they chose a more protected wind. All is well and they will likely be back "hard at it" in the morning. All good signs tonight that they have better plans ahead! SED to all!

THURSDAY TUCK-IN: Arriving for tuck both Samson and Gabby were at the nest, so we headed over to the LY in case they flew in. Samson delivered a sizable striped bass to the nest this afternoon and dined. He then left part of it for Gabby, but she didn't return, so he later finished it off. About 5:30 they flew from the nest tree and went directly across the street to roost in the ET for the night. SED to our special pair and SED to everyone!

Someone other than Gabby visited Samson on the nest tonight. The Tuck:

FRIDAY TUCK-IN: We had action at the nest tonight during tuck. Well.....not much action but a visiting eagle (likely 4yrs old almost 5yrs....Liberty or Justice?) spent a few minutes at the nest right after Samson arrived. The eagle appeared to be a female based on size, as the eagle was larger than Samson and actually nudged him off the nest. He then flew over to the LY (knowing he has his bodyguard, Gabby, for any purpose needed.....lol). The visitor then flew. My hunch is Samson and Gabby will return early in the morning. SED to everyone!

SATURDAY TUCK-IN: Above aka_AEF posted the pic we took of Samson and Gabby perched side-by-side at the ET right across the street from the nest at tuck tonight. They are roosting there for the night right close to home. SED to our dear Samson and Gabrielle and SED to all.

SUNDAY TUCK-IN: Glenn did the tucking tonight in the soggy Hamlet. Both Samson and Gabby landed on a LYT perching for some time. Later they flew over to a protected pine nearby in the LY. Monday promises some Florida sunshine! SED to all and have a wonderful Thanksgiving week!

MONDAY TUCK-IN: Gabby pictured above arrived at the nest tonight before dusk (honkin' crop and all). She later flew and we found her across the street in the ET. She soon flew (likely spotted Samson in the LY). Sure enough they were perched side by side when we arrived there in a tall pine in the LY likely roosting for the night. Too dark for a pic. SED to our Samson and Gabrielle and SED to all!

TUESDAY TUCK-IN: Samson and Gabby flew in one at a time into a pine in the LY with welcoming vocals. It’s a favorite roosting tree of theirs. I think they are tucked there for the nite with a great view of the shuttle launch tonight! SED to everyone!

THANKSGIVING EVE TUCK-REPORT: Apparently Samson and Gabrielle are out celebrating tomorrow's day of thanks and were a "no show" at the nest or in the Hamlet tonight. Actually they are likely roosting in the LY or ET arriving after dark. They don't roost very far from home! SED to our precious pair and SED to all!

The entire NEFL volunteer cam team wishes everyone a Happy and Healthy Thanksgiving "stuffed" with blessings and hope for better days. Samson and Gabrielle certainly bless us all. Thank you for being a vital part of this nest cam family!

MONDAY TUCK-IN: Our cam op, Pwhite_AEF, was graced with Sam arriving at the nest tonight and Gabby soon after. They appeared to possibly spend the night at the nest but flew off. Glenn confirms he could spot them in the LY on one of their favorite pine trees tonight at dark. The temps are dropping tonight in the Hamlet with possible temps under 40 degrees at daybreak. Sunshine is in the forecast for Tuesday though. SED to y'all!

TUESDAY TUCK-IN: Gotta give it to the chatters for the fine job of tucking tonight! Samson and Gabby both arrived at the nest before chat and mated! At this time they are fully tucked. It's going to be a brisk night in the Hamlet tonight with lows in the upper 30's....oops, we're already there! Wednesday will remain chilly with highs in the upper 50's but sunshine on the way! SED to our special pair roosting at home tonight, and SED to everyone!

WEDNESDAY TUCK-IN: Our cam op, LisaS_AEF, gets credit for tucking Gabrielle in tonight (fully tucked on Cam 2 at this time). Glenn reports Samson is at the LY in a favorite roosting pine. Looks like all is fine in the Hamlet pines!

THURSDAY TUCK-IN: One by one Samson and Gabby arrived at the LY greeting each other with such cute vocals. It appears they are roosting tonight in the LY which is in the Hamlet and not far from the nest. Stay tuned.....hoping they will return to the nest bright and early on Friday morning as temps will be in the mid 60's. SED everyone!
