It has been fun here. E23 will be a handful. He did get something stuck in his mouth and M15 finally got it out. It was hard to see what it really was.
Right now, F23 toughing it out and keeping E23 dry in big storm

E23 has branched. at just after 8am this morning March 2
No stopping him/her now

E23 is 63 days old
I thought E23 was going to branch Feb 29 , came so close

High chance she's a girl
males are more aggressive

E23 is just incredible but we don’t want him/ her fledging yet. Too young . But amazing

I just cannot keep up here. will try and pick a few pictures. I watch here and other sites every day, but impossible to keep up
E23 thinks it should be flying an dis going leaps an d bounds but he is too young to fledge so pray , he does not. He is learning how to be an adult and his parents are teaching him well

there was an intruder in early evening so both adults in tree and E15 is standing in nest . I couldn't find reverent but here they are this late evening in tree












fish brought in . he tried a bit to self feed but then was fed

yesterday E23
went to top branch in tree what a feat. He flew up there.
will no t be long. last night he perched up high and he also did tonight.

March 16
We are on fledge watch.
E23 is so strong
Any minute he could fledge

E23 accidentally fledged but flew great and is already back in attic

I only wish, they would limit watchers. Too many. When I was in charge of falcon watch for years, we had a few a shift and had strict rules, where you could be.

MRch 17

E23 was struck by an owl just after midnight. I watched him fall and he recovered and flew by fence, flew back abit from fence , tried for a tree, may have been chased off by owl , and ended up lower , by fence,

I was watching on pond cam so couuld not tell distances.

This morning he was spotted on a bush and is now on lower branch of front snag. He appears ok and is getting dive bombed

If people stay away as asked, he won’t be spooked.
If people don’t spook him he should be able to fly out and gain height and make way back.
Waiting on an adult

he flew to church snag and dad flew to nest . Stomach is in check and he flew to nest and getting fed old piece of prey.
