Oh how wonderful Suzanne and I love that the one eaglet was trying to get the food by its self mom wasn't fast enough

I see there is quite the audience in the background at different times of the day.... :shock:

Hope they don't disturb the eagles too much.... and stay behind the fence....

Perhaps we could get someone (property owner?) to post a friendly sign that tells the onlookers that there is a cam to watch them on?.....

I read on the FB SS or chat not sure which one that there is a fence around the whole area and there are signs and people helping all the time as far as the onlookers go, they really love their Eagles there and don't want anything to go wrong there also is a pic on FB and the fence is a lot farther away from the tree than it looks

The fence is about 300 feet away ... not quite far enough in my opinion (I thought the law was 325 feet - close enough I guess). And they need to have signs with "Eagle Etiquette" posted. Although, with that highway so close, the eagles must be used to the noise.

The grounds where the nest is ... is a horse boarding business. You can see a horse or two wandering around now and then.

I worry about the crowds too ... but hope they are behaving!

PS ... I HATE the names! they should have been something more native to the area. There are so many eagles named Hope I can't stand it!! :girlcrazy:

One of the little ones is trying to self-feed, & oh carp--that looks like a falcon he's feeding on! :gaaaaah:

We are weeks away from the launch of Season 2! Our favorite eagle couple, Harriett and Ozzie , have been spotted in the area and we are hard at work getting everything ready to go for an even bigger and better season ahead. More details will be posted next week. Are you as excited as we are?!
