Well, they had zoomed out ... then took a vote .. and zoomed back in a little. I've been checking on them just haven't had time to post pics.

But they are so cute at night, with Momma by their side.

The Friends of Blackwater are proud to announce the following winner in our 2013 Eaglet-Naming Contest.

Winner: Angel Walker is an 11-year-old from Greenwood, Delaware, where she is on the honor roll in school and also has a brother named John. Angel picked the wonderful names of Talon and Soar for our eaglets, and we think these are fitting names for our handsome raptors. We've decided to give our older bird the name Talon and our younger bird the name Soar.

Angel will receive a certificate and a gift from our Eagle's Nest Gift Store.

Thanks to everyone who participated in our Eaglet-Naming Contest. We always appreciate all our entries because they help make the contest a real event. If your entries didn't win this year, hang on to them and you can use them again in a future chick-naming contest.
