Well I don't even like the whole thought of this but I have NOT seen any Eagle for at least 3 weeks now and after the shooting of the 4 Bald Eagles at Granite Fall, I looked it up on a map and there is only about 1 hour from the nest area and Granite Falls that is driving so flying well anyway I hope someone gets a look at an Eagle here

I've been checking too but haven't seen any. But I'm not too worried yet ... it's not time for them to nest yet. They don't lay eggs until March here.

Update March 2013
The Lake Washington eaglecam was damaged in 2012 and the eagles did not nest last year. The new and improved camera was installed according to DRAFT Eaglecam regulations provided by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Adult eagles have been observed at the nest, but once again they have not nested at this attractive wonderful bald eagle nest site. You may continue to see adult bald eagles on occasion using the nest as a roost or feeding platform.

I have a feeling they may have built a new nest... we've seen it a lot the last 2 years. Too bad they don't seem to have anyone on the ground watching.
