Well, durand is in with the eggs...I have to wonder if things would be different if those eggs were gone...I don't think we will ever have to worry about Durand abandoning her eggs...hopefully, the day when she really ignored them will be very soon

You can't see Zoom, but she's standing in front of Durand, yelling..

It snapped Mom out of her egg obsession and she left the box..she is not sitting on top...I'm not sure where Zoom is...maybe pancaked in front of the box?

Check it out...must be a fast moving something as its already gone!!!

Durand is in the box with the eggs (surprise)...I lost track of where Zoom is, but she must be dozing somewhere as I don't hear her...

There has been no feed so I hope Zoom had a huge breakfast...

I'm outta here for a while..hope somebody else can keep watch..

Not positive, but I think that's Zoom near box on inner ledge?

Edited to Add: WRONG.. that white thing isn't Zoom. she's mid ledge and tucked up against the ledge in this picture. She finally made her way down to Mom and started wailing.

12:47pm - Spark just made prey delivery on ledge. Durand ran down to take food and flew off. Spark followed several seconds later AFTER Zoom popped up in front of nest box and is WAILING.

See Zoom in front of box...

Thanks mwplay...this is exactly what happened yesterday...Spark brings a nice lunch and Durand won't feed...

Durand is getting on my last nerve.. :girlcrazy:

12:54pm - Durand just came back with prey - into box. Feeding Zoom.. What a hungry girl...

Will upload video.

Poor Zoom can't get the food fast enough. Durand is still doing very small bites. Wonder if Zoom will ever learn how to self feed?

1:02pm - and Zoom has left the box. Durand is finishing off the meal. Wrong. Durand takes leftovers out of the box. Now trying to feed Zoom on the inner ledge. I can't tell for sure, but think maybe Zoom grabbed the food from Durand. Think Durand has it back and is feeding again... Recording this too..

I am so thankful for this message. Zoom was very hungry. I've been anxious all day about her getting a meal. It's month end at work so I am soooo busy today! Thank you again for the update! The poor honey. Feel so bad for her. I am trying to have patience with Durand but she is getting on my last nerve too.......

I had the same issue with YouTube last night...it just wouldn't upload...I finally gave up and tried a couple of hours later..and it uploaded in a snap!!!

unfortunately, its back to the yard for me...I've neglected for so long...I can't imagine why!!!

4:24pm - Zoom was at the front of the nest box. You could see her shoulder on cam. She moved forward and I think is on the little porch in front of box. I can just make her out in front of the nest camera.

It's raining now. Zoom finally made it into the box...

I've been doing yard work all evening and just now was able to check on her and other falcons all of the world.
Once I teach myself photo bucket perhaps I can be helpful with photos too! Have a good evening. And take care all of my new friends!!!!!
