Poor Dan - looks like he has them all, but his poor tail sticking up... talk about abdominal crunches!

This is beginning to be like Xcel King Plant....they had 7 or 8 eggs there last year... some hatched... and if I remember correctly, there were late hatch and some died.?..

So if she lays a full clutch of 4, the first will hatch a week and a half before the last... with the instant incubation occuring?

Matrix - yes, most likely. That's what we've been thinking... They immediately went into hard incubation because Lil's eggs were being incubated by Dan.

This could be very interesting. I, like the rest of you, hope that any chicks that hatch survive.

Cher just got up at 7:00am. Eggs this morning:

One of them must have moved the egg pushed out of the scrape closer to the box yesterday. It was further away Wednesday.

Here comes Dan for duty at 7:02am...

My guess, if she lays another egg, will after dark tomorrow night (Sat, 4/6).

1st egg: Friday, 3/29 approx. 4pm - approx 76 hrs to #2
2nd egg: Monday, 4/1 approx. 7:50pm - approx 62 hrs to #3
3rd egg: Thursday, 4/4 approx. 9:40am

So, if she lays at approx. 60 hours, that will be sometime after Sat, 4/6 after 9PM. If she goes longer, we may not see an egg until Sunday 4/7 late morning/mid afternoon?
