Could see him there on the corner. Hopefully he will come back to box.

Voice sounded like DC to me. The chirp.

ETA: and the call. DC calls when incoming. He also would wait for B outside box sometimes.

UT was so chatty with B last night. DC seems more the quiet type. This to me was quiet, except for the call & the chirping.

Yes and he went in NB after B would leave. So likely DC. Hope the little squeaker is safe some :flirty: where

I'm almost positive it was UT last night. Just the amount of squeaking. And didn't he constantly whine for her when he was here? DC doesn't really whine for B in my opinion.

Looking at pictures from today. I'm convinced it was DC at the box the majority of day, except for the early morning when UT was on territory.

Here is a confirmed sighting of DC by MAK. He was at NB with Beauty 9:14AM ET

Image

Now I compare this 4:55pm shot. We were unsure who this was. We all thought Beauty was in labor and this bird stayed the entire time. I am specifically looking at his heart shaped malar stripe in this photo:

Image

And here is a shot from 4:18PM. Same visit from the photo above. I am looking at the white feather on his shoulder. Very similar to the 8:06pm picture below. And we know it was DC based on 8:05 photo below where his bands were visible:

Image

Confirmed DC based on visible bands at 8:05pm after food delivery to Beauty:

Here's a picture from 8:06pm, showing the white feather, similar to the 4:18pm shot:

ALSO:

Yesterday, 4/14/13 at approx. 3:24pm a tiercel attempted to make a food delivery to B. Didn't happen and he ate the prey in front of B. At first, I thought it might have been UT because I thought it very odd that the exchange didn't happen and he ate instead of delivering. I know believe it was DC. I have tried to blow up the picture and point out bands:

AND 1 minute later, B is in the box and DC is finishing food. Band on left leg is very visible.

11:45pm - Very quiet. B is perched on beam in front of box. Occasionally looking up or around, but silent tonight.

Cam 2 streaming has been down for a few hours now.

From archives, B sat on front beam until 12:36. At 12:37, she jumped up to top of cam 4. She left at 12:49am. Returned at 1:08AM. She is perched on the side rail between cam 4 & main cam. Can't see her on stream, only on archives.

Each time I have checked on her, she has been quiet.

Funny, each night she takes a little break. Wonder if she's getting a snack. Wonder if peregrines do that normally, or just when they are about to lay due to increase calcium demands?

Time to shut down for the night.....

Good Morning!!!

9:30am - B starts getting vocal, chupping, looking up.
9:31am - she starts whining call and flew off.

Think I hear male in distance, chirping. Yes...

MAK tweet: 9:32: DC took leftovers to P in cubby. Lots of echupping then he flew out circled above the cubby and left the area

9:41 - male close - just heard single chirp. I don't see him, so he may be above box.

9:42 - someone just arrived quietly on deck, other side of main cam. I think it's B. After a meal, she seems to sit there for a few minutes before moving closer to box.

I can hear male chirping in distance (again, I think up above). Yes, B is looking up.

9:45am - she's moved up to beam in front of box, facing out.

10:39am - B is sitting on beam, facing box, watching something and chuppng a little. Whining/calling for DC. Looking up.

Just heard DC calling - like his incoming call, so he may be in the air again. Then heard some squeaking.

B just jumped to top of cam 4 - standing, looking south.

10:42 - She just flew off in southern direction.

Can hear DC chirp in distance.
