matrix, my neck is right out there with yours...I sure hope we are wrong...

Hera was so excited..I should have saved the vid..but, no way to even see him until I broke down the frames..she is still there. She has been scraping in the box several times...and a few times echupping...I haven't seen a male since...sigh..

WOW...I totally missed all of that, so thanks for that report...I wonder what they were doing?

Streaming Cam is back to normal now, but no falcons in view...

The North nestbox cam is totally black...

Hera arrived a few minutes ago, echupping..she acted like he followed her up...but, I never saw another bird...she's quiet now..

No luck seeing the red band with changing colours and shades...resizing...cropping etc... :thud

If the top number in the black band is a number 0....it narrows it down to only 292 choices....LOL
(Not letter O... only one bird in database with and O black over red)

So....Still need a perfect storm of conditions...or success by someone at Woodmen....

Just my overactive imagination but.....I'm still going to hope it's the male named "Publicenemy" from 2010...in honor of BB of Buffalo..... :wink:

Hera may have been the one to take out the recent falcon found on the other building...since it was deemed female at the banding age.....

So, it appears that purple band may have been there as early as 2011...I know Zeus was still there in 2010...I found those pics in the archives..

Good grief...Zeus was gone and we didn't even notice... :girlsad3:

I do think that Hera was the one in the fight...even though the article implied male by bringing up Zeus' name..

Anyway, must be Hera here
