MAK reports DC spent some time with Pigott and mating was observed.

Her last tweet at 9:48AM: DC chased after another tiercel returned and went to cubby, echupped and flew N. P remained on W extension and is now facing N

And about 2 minutes ago, B started to chup a little. Guessing maybe she saw DC arriving DT.
ETA: Patsy on stream reports DC already under NE wing TSB.

Ustream down on main streaming this morning.

DC arrived to corner of deck. Vocalized a few times to Beauty. Beauty chupped and peeped in return, but did not make any attempt to leave eggs. DC flew off after a few minutes.

11:53 - B up off eggs. Alarm calling, but preening in between. She's watching the sky North to South. She's alert. More alarm kaaking. Watching something in front.

She's just flew off 11:56. After almost 30 seconds straight alarms calls, louder & more persistent.
Can hear her alarm calls in distance.


Patsy - 12:00PM USTREAM: CR@P! A flock of at least six birds (sorry I don't know what!) just swarmed TSB!!

Patsy: Big, black underneath, orange beaks, top feathers sort of translucent. I'll keep watching for a few.

Beauty just arrived back to deck, to box. on eggs, alarm calling. 12:03 - 12:04

12:08 - B is alert, but quiet at this time. ETA: No sign or sound of DC - Assume he's spending some time with P today.

12:33 - Alarm calling again. She's still on eggs, not getting up yet.
12:34 - Now she's up. Front perch of box. Intermittent alarm calling. Looking up & out.
12:37 - Now she's echupping. Still perched on front of box. Maybe DC arrived DT. Hopefully will be clearing the airspace.

12:43 - She settles back on her eggs.

2:08pm - DC arrives on deck at far corner (other side of main cam) with his normal "incoming" call. He has no prey. He proceeds to box. B & DC have a bonding session, but B does not leave. She's been on eggs now for 5+ hours, except for her response to the TV's earlier.

ETA: Subsequent nest exchange at 2:20pm (B left & DC arrived within a minute)

2:53 - DC just flew off silently...

3:03pm - B arrived back on deck silently, then proceeds to box with a few chups/peeps. Settles on eggs.

ETA: Patsy on stream reports 3:22 That was quick. Dot flew off south a few minutes ago.

well it looks like things are settled a bit. Thye are going g to chase anything out o f territory.

EGG #4

You know, it's much more visible on the 4 split screen - sounds stupid, but you can see her pushing down and the movement of her tail.

The giveaway for Beauty is she can't get comfortable, changes positions, then starts the pushing. Depending on which way she is facing, cam 2 or cam 3 are really telling. The main cam would be okay, but she has her nest cup so low, you might now even know it was happening.

I noticed this the other day, when I was trying to figure when egg#4 would arrive... she's got a +1 hour window between eggs.
