11:10am - B just arrived on the corner deck. DC chupped a few times, but he's staying on the eggs. Looks like B is bowing and now making her way forward. Onto front beam, but I don't think DC wants to leave just yet. He starts getting up, but then, turns back as if he is going to get back on eggs. Some chupping between the two and he finally flew off 11:12. B is greeting her eggs.

11:47AM - Alarm kaaking by Beauty while she was on eggs. A few seconds later, she's off in air after rapid chupping.

She's back on deck a few seconds later, rapid chupping and some defensive bowing.

She's on corner of deck, other side main cam.

Watching something.

You can tell from egg formation, she got up quick.

11:49 - back in air again.

DC to box 11:50am

DC arrived silently, on corner near platform and went to box to cover eggs. He doesn't appear upset. He appears calm and is looking out towards Mercury? Whatever Beauty was responding to, she wasn't happy. I'm glad he was still in the area.



11:57 - B comes screaming in... DC not moving off eggs. She's on front beam now. Seems a little agitated.

ETA: DC left. She's on eggs now.

Never heard her arrive like that. Seriously screaming in, directly to beam. Wow...

And when she was exchanging with DC, some chups, but rapid. My interpretation, "I'm not playing, get off my eggs now"... and he responded.

12:27 - Few alarm kaaks again. Looks like she's watching something, but making no move to get off eggs at this point.

Obviously something is too close for her comfort.

12:53 - She's been calm now for almost 20 minutes, so maybe whatever it was has moved on or away.

12:55 - small chupps. Watching something out. Must be DC, just heard his incoming "call/scream".

12:58 - more calling in distance. B responds with some chups, looking upwards, but she's pretty much in the box, so can't see above her.

Patsy see's someone under NE wing TSB preening.

Must be DC..

1:07 - a few more alarm kaaks from B.

I'm hoping this is DC and not somebody else... if you know what I mean....

Earlier when she responded to something, it was definitely DC who came in to cover the eggs.

When he just arrived a few minutes ago, she did her normal chups "I see you", and then we heard his call. A few minutes later, hear him call again and she responds with a few chups and looking upward.

Some on stream thought they heard her "quack" and then chup before he arrived.

I guess it's best to just say, she seems a little uneasy this afternoon.

1:52pm - If it's DC above her, he's calling/whining a lot today. And when he calls, she chups in response.

2:25 - DC arrives on deck - other side of main cam, calling/whining.B leaves after several seconds. DC to eggs.

Um... when it's quiet, and he's looking sleepy. All I hear on the speaker is the ambient city sounds in the background, totally make me want to take a nap...

Starting next week, for about 10 days, a production crew will be filming part of the new Spider-Man movie (a car chase scene) in DT Rochester! Very exciting news! Here's a TV clip about it which contains some pics of buildings that people here might be familiar with-OCSR, Mercury, TSB.

5:14pm - Beauty's home with a nice full crop

Far corner, other side of main cam. DC came in with his incoming call.

She's already got a full crop and he just delivered. MAK saw mating this morning. I'm wondering if there's an unexpected #5 on the way?

She looked like she was zoning out a little.

6:57pm , B is back on corner of deck, other side main cam. DC staying on eggs.

She has now moved up to beam in front of box & he's still sitting there.

Now he making his move ... oh nope. I'll just stay here... Thanks.

Oh, this is so cute. He doesn't want to leave. Tucking in again...

I would be very surprised to see a 5th egg here, but these guys just keep surprising us!

Apparently falcons continue canoodling for a while after all the eggs are laid--at least the Harrisburg ones do. Heck, a canoodle was heard there last weekend after the eggs had started hatching! Practicing for next season I guess.
