Boy..I'm really slow today..( and so is Photobucket)

Prior to the feed...baby was alone for a few minutes...spark comes in to babysit

Durand lands at least twice in front of the box, but Spark doesn't come out..

On her next approach, he does come out:

Durand Coming in and spark in the air~not sure why..Maybe Spark thought she was gonna hand off the food?

Then for several frames there was some sort of "interaction"...food tug-o-war? I have no clue..but there was a flurry of wings.

Durand won, Spark left, and Durand came in to feed the baby.

Enlarged (blurry and somewhat distorted) pic of this egg. If that is a pip..then boy, it appears to be near the small end of the egg. Not that I've seen a cazillion hatches, but the 1 or 2 I've seen with a pip near the pointy end, the chick never made it out...As I said, pic is distorted, so I may be wrong about the location.

durand just alarm called and took off after something...only gone for about a minute..she is back now..

Before we had a first hatch the other day, I saw that mark and thought that egg was going to hatch first. The night before baby hatched, I could have sworn I heard 2 voices. DEF thought she heard 2 voices also.

I hate to say it, but maybe it didn't make it out?
