This is such a vocal baby (or maybe I never noticed others before)...most babies when their crops are full, fall over asleep...Not this little one..chirp, chirp, chirp, chirp, chirp..and he's still at it..

I bet that's it, Carly...baby wants to snuggle and has no siblings to do it with? Once he gets comfy under mom is when he stops crying...

Durand Nestled up peacefully on this chilly morning. She seems to be contend with the majority of feeding and certainly incubating. Poor Spark gets driven away a lot!

The Capital City Half Marathon is going on, or at least setting up. Its a really big (and fun) event, but would suspect we might be hearing some unusual sounds on the mic today. We will se how the new family takes to this!

Thanks!!! Durand has settled down some with the sounds..early on, she was startling easily..and if a Falcon can "furrow" its brow, hers was furrowed and she really looked..scared..not really the right word...
