Bird Cams Around the World

Am hearing some noises from below. Lil Dad is there, and does not mind. I guess they're used to city noises.

I hear noises too Jane, and thought that may be the men working on the building, that was scheduled for today. Lil Dad looks nice and calm and Spidey has been at work on the Cam.

I'm not sitting here watching continually, but have had the cam on since around 8:00 this morning while doing things around the house. Lil Dad has been there since I first tuned in. Am wondering when he eats. Have not seen Niecey yet. Of course if she's on the stick, she'd be out of cam view. Am tempted to make a spin down there after lunch, but may have trouble finding a parking place.

Not sure when she arrived, but Niecey is there now. At 11:00. At least I think it's her. Definitely her.

Lil Dad arrived at 1:20. Niecey didn't want to get off the eggs, but did. She went somewhere on the ledge, but can't see her on the point at the moment. Didn't see her fly off.

Something is going on. Off the eggs. Is that Niecey or somebody else on the ledge????



I just can't see the tape on the right leg.

I saw some flybys. Not good.

Oh good lord, my cam's gone down.

I thought that I heard alarm call, faint though.

I just opened cam. Definitely heard alarm calls.

That is Niecey on the point and her tape is still on. Now she is at the scrape. Getting back on the eggs. Hope whatever that was is over with. But there was a falcon with a silver band on it's right leg and green and black on the left leg, plus I thought it looked young.

Do you always hear other birds in distance here? Can you hear that?

Yes, you can tell when they are flying by or sitting on another level. Maybe somebody recorded today, but I thought I saw another bird , falcon on the ledge and somebody else was dive bombing it, probably Niecey.

I'm in taking a break from gardening so I'll just sit here for a while with the cam up and make sure the problem is resolved.

She seems more relaxed now. When she first got back on the eggs, she looked very alert and that's when I thought I heard the other birds in the distance.

Here's a couple more shots , but pretty sure these are Lil' Dad and Niecey.

Niecey just left the eggs, ok, here comes lil' Dad I think.
No sounds at all. Well except for the shouting from humans.

Niecey came back and stood by the stick in front of the scrape but no exchange. I think everything is ok, going back outside to finish.

Wanted to see what was posted on here before making this post. I got downtown around 2:30. The first thing I saw was Lil Dad flying frantically back and forth in front of the ledge, so I knew something was going on. Next Niecey was flying around, too. Thought I saw a third falcon. They headed down Aberdeen, and then over above the U Building. Still a lot of frantic flying, and then there was ANOTHER falcon on the nest ledge. Thought it was an adult female, but cannot be 100% certain. Also not certain if it was Niecey or another female. All three took off and headed over in the direction of the Harrisburg Hospital. Waited a while and didn't see them return. Had to use the potty at the train station, and Lil Dad must have returned while I was in there. Sue joined me down there. Niecey came in from somewhere and landed on the point. We were able to get into the 5th Street garage, and observed her from the roof. She appeared to be fine. Niecey took off toward I-83, and returned while Sue and I were on the Chestnut Street garage roof. Sue and I did not see a third falcon while she was there. Glad to see Niecey looking calm on the point right now.
