Of course, Durand is blocking the view. If only she would step a little to left or the right so Zoom is visible!

Been gone all day and I sure want to thank everyone for the great coverage!!! So glad to see that Zoom stayed put...little stinker...and that he/she looks great!!!

I haven't seen a feeding this morning, but then I haven't been watching the whole time.

I just wish that it was lighter on the ledge so we could see Zoom if he/she was in front of the nest box. And I also wish that Durand and Spark wouldn't ignore the cries of their baby.

Well Zoom is still out of sight, but there is a falcon on the ledge, perhaps waiting for a morning food drop?

At last! Parent just arrived with prey and is feeding Zoom in the box.

Yes, Zoom is getting a two-course breakfast this morning. Unfortunately, the second course looks like a Red-bellied Woodpecker.

That feeding seemed to go on forever! Zoom will probably have to spend the rest of the morning (and maybe even the afternoon) sleeping it off. That was a huge woodpecker, and now it's gone.

Update: Yes, he's back in his corner getting settled down for what probably will be a really long nap.

He is a cuties

amen to Durand leaving the eggs. It is probably hard for her to let go , after having a gret mate this year.
Hope they improve nest box scrape for next year
