Baby is not having an easy time of it in there either, still he's getting some.

Is one of the chicks out of the box or is it hiding behind the two big ones in front? Oh, I see what they are watching, a bee. Meanwhile little one is in the back playing with wings and things.

Oh My! They are really moving around today. Love them watching a bee. I too think about the birds they catch and the ones they leave behind. OH, Well.

We don't have the answer to the leg color yet, but maybe we will next week when they band them.

I'VE ACTUALLY BEEN IN TOUCH WITH THE BIOLOGIST FROM THE GAME COMMISSION AND HE'S CHECKING INTO THE LEG COLOR THING, BUT NEVER HEARD ANYONE BRING UP THE QUESTION BEFORE AND DIDN'T KNOW EXACTLY WHY. NOT SURE IF THE ONES WHO COME TO BAND THEM WILL KNOW OR NOT.

LIL DAD JUST APPEARED ON THE POINT AND CHICKS STARTED SCREAMING. HE DID A POOP SHOT AND LEFT. NIECEY DID SOME OF HER LOW TALK, KINDA LIKE LIL DAD'S HONK.

Saw Lil Dad take off from the point a bit ago, and also heard Niecey making that strange call. Don't hear her now, but a couple chicks are screaming their heads off.

NIECEY IS ONE SMART GIRL. SHE JUST CAME IN WITH SOME MEDIUM SIZED FOOD AND WENT RIGHT BACK TO THE BACK OF THE SCRAPE SO THE KIDS WOULD GET AWAY FROM THE FRONT :-)

NIECEY LEFT AND CALLED OUT. NOW LIL DAD SHOWS UP WITH A NEW BIRD AND GOES IN AND STARTS TO DEFEATHER AND THE ONE CHICK WAS GRABBING THE FEATHERS OFF HIS BEAK!
