She really seems almost blasé about it. A few light heaves, one deeper one, a quick look underneath, then casually reaching back with the foot to rake the new egg into the bowl with the others. Then back to business as usual. (Although she did fumble around a little bit with the foot to get the egg moved). No honking to cal Lil Dad over to admire the new one; didn't Mom and New Girl usually call him over to see as soon as they were done?

I THINK USUALLY LIL DAD WAS THERE ALREADY WAITING AND JUST WAITING FOR HIS CHANCE TO SEE IT, CAN'T REMEMBER IF THEY CALLED HIM OR NOT.

I'M REALLY CONCERNED ABOUT LIL DAD.........................

Missed seeing Niecey lay the fourth egg. Lil Dad was there late yesterday afternoon as far as I know.

LIL DAD WAS ON THE EGGS UNTIL ALMOST 7PM LAST NIGHT. FAITH SAYS SHE HEARD THEM TALK THIS MORNING, BUT I DIDN'T. ONLY HEARD NIECEY MAKE ANY NOISE. WILL GO OUTSIDE AND LOOK AROUND SOME MORE, BUT THERE'S ONLY SO FAR I CAN LOOK FROM OUT FRONT.

Great news about the 4th egg this morning! That must have been fast: When I checked in this morning, there were just 3 eggs in the scrape.

IT WAS FAST! ALL THE SUDDEN SHE WAS STANDING UP AND THEN OUT IT CAME. I DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO REALLY NOTIFY ANYONE :-(

I was really lucky - a phone call woke me up and when I fired up the internet and started up the cam, it was 8:17. She was already standing, and it looked like she was doing standing up crunches, so I was pretty sure it was show time. If I hadn't had that phone call, I would have missed the whole thing!

Great news about egg #4!!!!! A good day for it, the first day of Spring.

I wonder if the people who run the cameras would consider adding a third cam back into the mix to show a long view of the ledge so we'd know if someone was on the stick or nearby sitting quietly? It would save a lot of us some worry, especially Reenie. Can't have you having heart attacks there at work, Reenie!

Glad Lil Dad is there. If you look back at page 8 at the picture where she had just laid the egg, look at the left upper hand corner and it looks like there is a shadow from the stick???? Or maybe eyes playing tricks.
