Spring isn't here, either. Snowing and cold over her as well. We need the water so I'm not going to complain.

One of last years Salt Lake falcon fledges is back in Utah and will be released at some point this weekend on Antelope Island. Primo was having a difficult time learning to fly and they took him to an out of state rehab to check him out and strengthen him. Apparently it worked. I'm hoping hubby and I can go watch the release if they will post what day and the time.

Very cold with snow showers today. Have so much to do outside, but too cold to do it! I know those eggs are nice and cozy under those feathers! That's why we buy "down jacket's" etc. They keep us warm too! LOL! Miracle of Miracles!

Niecey just replaced Lil Dad on the eggs. So far she has handled all of this like a pro!

I'll have the decency to feel sorry for you poor cold folks in the snow. I have spent all afternoon woodworking on my front porch in the beautiful calm spring day. Our lakes, however, are DRY. I don't know what the migrants are doing for water. I do have a hummingbird however, right on schedule, but we had no Monarch fall migration whatever. San Angelo is trying to increase population with no water supply, so I don't know how they figure to do that.

I too thought no more eggs. That is fine, like Jane said, Niecey is handling this like a Pro. Built into their DNA I guess. Seems like different areas have different weather problems. We are very wet, as our backyard is kind of squishy. Lawn fertilized today though. So we start the season.
