Bird Cams Around the World

After bonding session, DC left, then and landed on deck, between main cam and small platform. He made his way over to other side of main cam. B bowing/chupping in box entire time. He then left. Joyce reports not seeing DC now, from her vantage point DT.

11:50 - Can hear DC chirping in background. B flew off. Maybe mating session, or food exchange?

Can still hear them in distance. Quiet now.

11:52 - Can hear DC's chirp again in distance.

11:56 - DC arrives on deck, between main cam and side platform. He's chirping for B. Watching out.

Heads to box. Little pebble picking. Now to front lip of box, little preening. Keeping watch. Occasionally calling.

Joyce reports it was a food exchange.

12:07 - DC just flew off.

12:09pm - B arrives back on deck, near main cam. Chupping. to front beam.

Mwplay, I REALLY appreciate your reporting & captures for this nest & SF. I don't have much time to watch the cams, but I'm still interested in what's going on. THANKS SO MUCH!!

Joyce: 12:52: DT- DC high tailed it very fast SE (Dan's words). Dan is sitting in his chair on the bridge on this cold & windy day. DC came back to TSB.

12:57 - B is currently working in the box. She is now vocalizing, looking out 12:58. DC comes with MORE prey!

Food exchange.

DC just flew off. B still on corner deck with prey.

12:59 - B flew with prey - looked pretty big. Just heard DC above, chirping.

NO question she is getting well fed and PLENTY of food deliveries by DC right now.

Am I right in thinking that DotCa has abandoned Pigott, more or less, after they boarded up their scrape?

Don't know for sure, but at this point, he is spending LOTS of time with Beuaty, making very regular food deliveries, mating, defending territory and bonding in box.

This behavior increased, I believe on Thursday, but INTENSIFIED approximately 1 hour after window was boarded at other location Friday.

Once DC left the other site with prey yesterday and made a food delivery to Beauty, I do not know of any confirmed sightings of him with Pigott.

1:28PM. Both arrive on deck. DC proceeds to box. B joins him. Bonding in box.

She's probably just playing us again, but it looks like she might be contracting..

Just read some of the updates. The Rochester folks should be happy to hear about Legacy!

2:35 - Wonder if an afternoon snack is on the way. B's occasionally squawking about something. Last report from Joyce she wasn't sure where DC went.

2:55pm - B & DC just had a bonding session in NB.

It is her. It was just my 2nd volume was on. Also, that was a little different. DC beat her to box and she stayed on deck..
