Nest Location: 23rd floor on the SE side of the tower (Pavillon Roger-Gaudry) at the University of Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Roger (male) Unbanded.
Spirit (female) Bands: black over green 93/E, hatched in 2004 at the Hilliard Road Bridge in Ohio.

Nest Location: Stack J-4 at the Turcot interchange.

She is surviving and thriving looks like. I hope the this year she will be successful for her and Algo.

Didn't her little chick die last year?

Yes, her chick did die last year. She was videoed lying next to him after he died & it was so sad. :sum7:

I'm also hoping that she & Algo have a successful nesting season this year.

Hi all!
Sorry I haven't posted here in a long time.
I am very happy to see Spirit and Roger back on our tower. Just a few weeks ago I was almost certain that they were going to nest on the Oratory again. I think the last snow storm we had drove Spirit to come back and explore the new nest box, and then Roger followed. Unfortunately, we did not have time to get the cameras back in the nest box as the tower is still under construction inside, but I will try to get a microphone soon as there is still a hole in the door behind the box - it could be installed without the falcons noticing us.

From what I have seen in last few days, Spirit should lay her first egg very soon...

Polly and Algo have eggs already, but the female intruder from last year (Shirley) is back. Yesterday she was seen stealing food from their cache... here's a video of her from yesterday
