the other female is Sleggie, the formal residental female of the box, who was injured by the new female Sidonia. Sleggie had been brought to to the birdshelter, from where she has been released on august 8. As the fight took place in the evening of august 13, she immediately returned to her box though.

Kees, from the peregrine group Aalsmeer, took some video material of her afterwards and placed it on the Aalsmeer site. Kees doesn't know for now where Sleggie is, he qas around the watertower from 19:45 till 20:45 and only saw Youngster, the male, and Sidonia, the new female. Hopefully Sleggie just went away and will find another place to stay.

Anniet, I know,

I have sent a message and received a reply. [ because I thought it was Sleggie.]
She looked exactly like the pictures I have. and it is her.
A person of Working Group Aalsmeer has sent me a message that the falcon was Sleggie. [link code NI]

I understand that Hanny, you're the specialist of this nest in Aalsmeer :eggthumbup:

I really wonder where Sleggie is, haven't seen her anymore since. If she is dead, maybe the people of the Group would catch a glimp, but if she is still in the water she probably won't be found anymore. I do hope so very much she went away for another place.
