Bird Cams Around the World

Back home. It poured rain the whole time we were at the site. Layton and Shania had a blast in the rain, they had their wings out and took a shower! O'Connor was on the cam hiding and Jack was up top on the roof ledge.

Apparently that's where Frank was last seen so he never moved since release and didnt' show himself the entire time we were there - not even for food. He was seen by A & R before I got there and was walking around the ledge quite wobbly and dropped down on the roof. I worry about him - he doesn't flap much, he seems like something is not quite right with him.

Lizzie was found laying on her stomach, wings out and didn't even blink when she was rescued last night. She looked pretty rough they said. Likely a window strike as she was right under the bottom of the reflective glass on a roof stairwell . Now we wait to see what happens and what injuries she may have incurred.

Was down at the site this morning for a few hours. Very hot and humid out today so the kids weren't doing much. The girls were on top of the condo and did see Shania take two flights and she hit the glass gently both times and circled back to the condos. She was trying to get to the ledges and did succeed before I left and was laying by the nest box in her spot!

I didn't see Frank until before I left, his little head finally popped up from the rooftop so he's still where they released him yesterday morning but that's fine - better he builds up his confidence again.

Lizzie is on meds and anti-inflammatory drugs. She may have spinal damage - they're going to wait a few days and see how the drugs do on her and assess again. I suspect if she has spinal damage, they may have to put her down.
