Thank You Bev for the chance to be at the banding. The picture of Bev and her chick does not show her face beaming a smile from ear to ear. And watching Jean and Peter take pictures was great. Seeing the parents flying that close is beautiful. I can cross this off my bucket list.

Chase brought in prey and seemed very pleased with himself feeding the chicks, although he only really fed one chick. One baby was asleep and the other was left to get what it could off the prey from below. Chase kept looking back nervously as though afraid he'd be caught. (he is super cute) The biggest chick got up and was like, what did I miss.

I have not reported here for a bit as we have had to do a lot of watching to figure out what was going on.

Happy to report at least one chick but it sounded like more. We have had horrendous storms and they hit this box the worst. And they get no reprieve from rain here.

Gord is having trouble getting access as we have it so secure this year, he cannot get key.

but the new male seems to be doing well and yesterday MIss E did chase him out north to hunt,
she later went in with big prey item and stayed in a long time but she fed also. Either left some in or ate what was left.

Great shots Bev! I know it was a happy day. Looks like a pretty big crowd at the banding. I hope you only wear dresses when you are on a cam, can't imagine you chasing falcons around town :bravo
