Girls get excited, Green Girl out on the perch, but Blue runs out to grab prey when parent brings it in.

I'm not sure if I missed another food drop or not, because this prey looks bigger.

Getting a better look at the prey, looks the same.

great pictures and video.

Peter is down there right now and I will be heading down shortly . he is looking for Black band male and we know you have it be patient sometimes and their heads will pop up. the roof Gord put him on make it hard for us to see. It is right across from nest box.

We had a rain last nihgt so hopefully he found a dry place.

Gord checked out Black yesterday and everything was great. he only had a crack in beak that was not an issue. He was erogenous. I did not think to take pictures. It is always nice to see Gord with the falcons. NO effort and you can always see his passion, even thought he has so many other things to take care of.

We were glad the kids did not go annoyware as it was very windy. but those girls get me nervous. I though they were going to fly over to other roof when food drop was made there to black male yesterday

When we get the time we will download picutres. Just no time right now

Yes, she hopped back into the box, bullied her sister a bit, then hopped out again - down screeching on the perch. Did a food drop just go to their brother, somewhere above her head, and she wants to be noticed??

And now she is on top of the nest. Is that a first for her?

good catch, ljames...I haven't seen her up there either...I was recording cobb, so I missed her jump...should have known it was coming...she had been "eyeing" it...I think a parent had been above the box somewhere...maybe that was her motivation?

They are totally cute. Green Girl is up there exploring around having a great time until she wants to get back I suspect, while Blue is enjoying the nest all to herself, flapping and dancing around in there. She about fell out a couple of times.

just on my way down , still no sign of black, and yes, this is first for Green and we really do not want her there yet. she needs flapping on net. 43 or 42 days old today. too young

Of course, a wee morsel up there
thanks for coverage everyone

Peter has been there since 5 so it si strange he cannot find black. This happened last year. thinking positve

I heard it too and I was looking at the girls pretty closely then to see if it was them. It was faint. Is there any place that he could be stuck or hiding near the nest box?

Yes, I think there might have been a food drop up above, because Green was looking up there, flapping her wings, as if food went above her. That gives me hope that Black is up there somewhere.
