I Periodically "lurk" on chat...the male that we are currently seeing is NOT Larry... :gaaaaah: ... :girlcrazy: Of course it is VERY early in their season...so who knows how this is gonna play out...

Maybe Larry's gone in search of Lucy!!

after Lucy disappeared I was not sure if it was still Larry. I know they know their eagles but I Knows at times there was discussion about it then

If Larry is not there, my heart will go with, he is back looking after Lucy. that is what I thought last year.( after Lucy left.

Just my thoughts

I'd like to thank everyone for still hanging with us during this season of change. I wish I could answer everyone's questions. Like: Did Larry rebuild? Did something happen to him? Did he find Lucy? Will he come back? I fear none of these questions will get an answer. I do know that there is a pair here and they have been seen mating twice, and one was not a good performance by the young male. It appears that the female is mature. There is no way of knowing the age of her, but his age is likely somewhere around 6-8. I like to be conservative. Today the young male brought in grass and yesterday his first stick, albeit small and in his beak. He spent the rest of the day pretty much watching her do all the work. I hope you head over to the homepage from time to time to get updates. We will try and do the best we can with the time we have.

I would also like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

:holwave: Glad to see you again talon it is surely a change at the nest. Of course we will be watching the nest and see how this new couple do. Even if its just a beginners run & nothing comes from it this year, we have next yr. to look forward to.
I will believe that Larry has found his one true love Lucy and they are off together somewhere beginning new.
Maybe some day you will be looking up for this new couple and see our sweet L & L flying together or just hanging out in a tree. Those 2 are meant to be together as far as I'm concerned. They have that special bond that even the new lady couldn't break. I know I'm being a romantic with them, but thats how I am.

Also I hope so much that Lerry and Lucy are dinuovo together .... I did not like the idea of another with Lerry .... while the new copy is not know where two beautiful feast mice in the nest :bsanta:
