Sorry I missed seeing the juvie action! Hope I'll get to see some tomorrow before the feed goes offline for the season.

I learned some news today - for years I have been tracking all the nests where Harrisburg offspring nest in hopes that I would eventually learn of one of the grandkids successfully nesting somewhere. Today, I found a report from 2011 - one of Yellow Girl 2006's babies from 2008 was identified nesting on the Ironton-Russel Bridge in Ohio. There was a "new female" that was never identified in 2010, so that might have been her also. In 2011, three chicks fledged from the bridge. These would have been Mom and Lil Dad's great-grandchildren! The nest failed in 2012 and 2013, and there is an unbanded female this year, but there are at least a few of the 4th generation out there!

Haven't seen a falcon via the cam yet today, but was without Internet for a while. Severe thunderstorm watch for our area until 9:00 tonight. :-(

Missed the arrival, but there's a juvie pancaked at the end of the ledge right now up against the building.

Juvie has relocated to in front of the orange post. Some nasty storms are getting ready to move through here, but it looks like the worst will be to the north of Harrisburg.

Wish I knew what just happened. Thought it was Niecey that landed in front of the scrape. Another falcon came in, and it looked like she was about to chase it off. Cam changed and they were gone. Am going to be leaving shortly and will be out most of the rest of the day. Wish somebody else had seen what I did. It was over in a split second.

I've not seen a falcon on the ledge since early this morning when Niecey was there. I just checked three reliable sources. Harrisburg's big fireworks display is tomorrow, July 5.
