I saw the update - I feel helpless here at work - hopefully she is not on the ground somewhere or Donna would know. I hope she is sitting on the statehouse - that would be the easiest place for her to land as it is not too high

I think so too!!! still mighty soon for a female fledge..but, Hoshi has always appeared "advanced"..LOL...she's also the most impulsive and careless of the 3...at least so far. So far, Blaze is more laid back and Dart is goofy and has been more of a loner..

It's not raining here right now - I may wait until around 3:00 and then head down there - Pearl1 may be headed down very shortly - she has better vision than I do so she would be able to follow the adults = that would be the best way to find Hoshi - I can't believe it - I was downtown at 7:00 this morning but I was more focused on getting on my bus to get to work - grrrr - I never dreamt that she would fledge this morning with all the rain - she probably took off as I was getting on the bus

Yep...feeling pretty helpless myself. I'm sad because I missed recording it. I was actually up and going...just late opening the cam because I was SURE we had a few more days before an actual fledge..well, jokes on me...Right now, I'm more anxious and worried because we don't know what her status is. I guess no news is good news at this point.

I'm sure our Columbus members will keep their ears open and eyes to the skies when they have the time to make it out...

that's great news...hopefully 1 of the parents will lead her to Hoshi...or at least the right building. that's probably the best bet at this point..

well, gotta get stuff done...I'll keep the recorder on the cams just in case Super Hoshi decides she can make it back to the ledge...I doubt it, but these days, who knows...LOL

And you are right on track following the parents and listening for her wailing for food!

In San Francisco, we just had a girl fledge and get "lost" to ground crews for about 1.5 days. Finally, they found her on top of a very tall building. The parents are the key as they will feed her and if need be, defend her.

If Hoshi is on the ground - Donna would send an update- I plan to go downtown in a few hours - I don't have my camera with me though - that would really help - if we spot her, I will head home and get it - I asked Pearl to ask a statehouse guard if she runs arcorss one if he/she knows anything - they will know if Hoshi was found on the ground - I wish the camera would spin around and show the statehouse - she has to be really close to the ledge

well, had to come back...Spark landed, went into the box (risking life and limb) and Blaze followed..he left, I could see him in the distance and then...

Could be Durand coming down off the top of the building. Almost missed it as I was watching Blaze in the box...but, then I saw her look up and get excited..
