so we usually start counting 33 days from them

23 and 10 so about June10

since last intruder things have been going well. weather is the pits and you can see tail feathers blowing at times but they are very protected here. with young ones wind will be towards them so it may hold them to ledge instead o f blowing off

Just peeked in - E4 is sitting quietly on the nest, trying to keep from falling asleep, but I think it's a losing battle.... Fairly frequently she shakes her head... is she just trying to keep from falling asleep?

that is Red and we are wondering what the shaking is about. We are monitoring it and I am mentioning it to our biologist. This morning he was not doing it , but he started this yesterday

Big red kept coming to relieve E5 but she di d not budge . finally he bribed her with food. works for me LOL
