I think we may have a hatch. I'm not seeing egg shell, but maybe a wet baby...still looking at my vid..

big Red is doing great job so far. His first nesting

We need to see these eggs hatch out close together. do not want same problems as last year

eggs are so mottled , it is hard to tell pips

I am going to have chicks coming out of my kazoo LOL

we are concerned here.
no food has gone in and red has not been here since 2:47 but not relieving. she has sent him away
but alarm calling at 4:01

maybe calling for him. I know they can go 24 hours without feed but hate them to wait that long

6:42pm we saw a falcon fly in and go toward box and E4 chupped and it went to ledge for awhile and flew off

E4 has left box several times looking out ledge and then back. long day and hoping for good news

also do not like it that no more hatches . like them closer together but then it will happen when it does

edit: I said E4 and it should have been Red sorry . LOng day

8pm as I was typing E4 started chupping and left box and saw someone go off with food .

but I think E4 back

will check my tape. well some has to come back here( please )

OK..so, I'm confused...E4 is leaving for extended periods of time? And Big Red hasn't brought prey for a feed? do I have that right? Gosh, do they not have a cache that E4 could go to if she wanted to?

I was just checking the cam and scrolled back on the dvr not very far and Red brought a very small bit of food not that long ago. E4 fed the baby, I have vid but have to convert it.

what has happened is htat E4 has been on all day, she would leave to go to ledge but come back in aminute. ths was continual.
then alarm calling at 4:01pm

red finally brought in a bit and then took off with it so at 6:11pm ( jsut now , he finally comes back with food and first feed. We were worried and as soon as I say something, he comes in LOL

sorry for confusion, but when things all o f sudden are not the same and we have a young one needing to be fed and E4 , we worry.
