April 11 Temp 27 sleet, snow, wind King 4 am She is standing sleeping on my right - her headless penguin pose Doesnt appear the wind has driven much snow INSIDE Xcel Sherco 3.45 am She's laying flat down on egg, snow inside 4.07 She's sitting up Egg 1 - April 7 at 4.30 pm I always wonder when there is more than 3 days interval between eggs Poor GSB looks like snice - combo of snow and ice

SHERCO April 11 Temp 27 sleet, snow, wind 3.45 am She's laying flat down on egg, snow inside 4.07 She's sitting up 5 am She sure looks like she is laying an egg - into a SNOW PILE 5.12 She turned around ... she labored half hour 5.45 am She laid down - I dont know if there's another egg 6.17 She left eggs alone 6.28 She is still gone White eggs in white snow - someone get a snip in the morning! King 4 am She is standing sleeping on my right - her headless penguin pose Doesnt appear the wind has driven much snow INSIDE 6.30 am King may be in labor - ? 7 am LOL! She wasnt on an egg - SHE WAS SITTING ON HER BREKKY!!!  She exits around the side where she has a blackbird she eats, leaving prey where she'd been Male arrives, brings more prey INSIDE - but she's outside eating I wish you were watching this!  - maybe -

I have wondered that myself. She left at 6:15 this morning Now it is 7 pm I thot she was trying to lay egg 2 this morning later I couldnt see for sure if there are 2 eggs or only 1 Something may be wrong with her Just a thot - hope not |

| RRP Nestwrap April 12, 2019 Thursday Blizzard report, Temps above freezing Sherco Nestbox buried in snow along with egg(s) Has she abandoned it or will she return? Long icicles hang at the entrance. Today it could all melt Temps above freezing so there *may* be hope Our falcons trooper on during blizzard! Wind has been just awful and birds are bringing prey inside box overnite. Bringing prey inside seems odd to me - til after hatch. Both King and Elk River boxes escaped being buried inside GSB box had icy snow Thursday, but our kids kept eggs warm. Friday both GSB cams out. Been a lot of power outages in Dakota, MN and Wis

 April 12 7 am Falcon shows up in the corner down on the porch Kept looking up at the nestbox jail - could be dangerous to enter walked across porch and offcam Best answers I can give ya susan She can always re-clutch |

April 13, 2019 Temp 31 Her prison bars melted off - good I hope we see today how many eggs today. 4 am I hope she isnt laying another egg on that icy-snow! She spent the nite inside tucked over egg(s) I see NO PEBBLES - only ice over her other egg, not on it - its covered with ICE Poor thing! She even looks sad! :( 6.20 am male arrived inside, and she exited to side patio, may have prey? Poor confused male doesnt see any egg - its all ice - if she laid an egg today it'd roll out 6.30 He is still inside peeping and she's on patio eating and she's gone - he perchs outside ---- My daughter and an aquaintance in Wisconsin lost power with blizzard Many in several states lost power.

ITS MELTING! April 14, 2019 Temp 23-45 3.30 am She is tucked in the corner up on 2x4 zzzzz At dawn she left 10.30 Came and perched, looked inside, went in and poked around - even swam on the ice - brrrrr - nothin but hard ice At noon the snow in one outside corner has melted!  12.30 Its melting fast! She went inside when he came - It looked like one of her talons were on her egg - Its slush now - the ice has softened in the egg area I believe she'll lay at least one more egg, more likely 2 |

SHERCO April 16, 2019 She has rolled her egg around, from the back to the center, now front right near cam 4 am She spent the night inside perched up on the beam again Yesterday I saw her push the egg around I was never sure if there was only one egg or 2 The cam focus is so unclear My last look yesterday, egg was dead center I expect her to lay 2 more QUESTION During these times - the blizzard, couldnt nest - are they still mating? She wouldnt still be creating eggs? I'd love to know kitten - nora on RRP has that same pic
