See the world through the eyes of nature’s fastest animal: the peregrine falcon. Though once perilously endangered in the U.S., this spectacular predator is now thriving again in American cities and on every continent but Antarctica. What is the secret to its predatory prowess? To find out, follow a young family of peregrines in urban Chicago as the chicks hatch and learn from their parents to fly and hunt. And join expert falconer Lloyd Buck as he trains a captive peregrine and puts its hunting skills to the test. What’s the secret behind the peregrine falcon’s blistering speed, able to reach nearly 200 mph?

Thanks Ingrid! I did know about this nest and had put this under Eagle Country Southwest Florida to not confuse it with Dick Pritchett's in Ft. Myers. Maybe that was a mistake since I didn't easily find it on the cams page or calendar. :girlcrazy:

I renamed this nest "Southwest Florida - Eagle County" so it is right above Southwest Florida Dick Pritchett Ft. Myers.

For the time being this is a topic not a subforum like the other Florida/Georgia nests so you will find the topic under all the other Florida Georgia subforums. viewforum.php?f=466

I must have forgotten to post this in Edmonton news. they notify us now when she arrives and when she leaves. So I am praying she winters well. Still waiting to see if male from Minnesota came back there also. they have adopted her as their own.
It is at least nice for us here in Edmonton to know she is well. She is quite the lady. A true matriarch, who carries on despite some adversities in last few years. Just love her. Have watched her closely from ground since she arrived in 2008.

thank you DEF for bringing it here. :15heartbeat:
