good evening

It has been a heck of a year at all my sites in Alberta. so I did not have much time to update, but I have

spent many days now , writing reports , putting up pictures and video and slideshows.

S o with the season ended in so may places I thought you might enjoy seeing some pciutres and videos and

slideshows to music. and reading what happens , when all goes wrong at every site you have.

monitoring 5 sites from the ground and cam is not an easy task and I could not do it without the help of Emyrauld.

We had takeovers, deaths, a female went missing just before banding, and lots of rescues. We had 2 we had to rescue at Genesee, 2 females at u of a ( the Maz just is no match for them ). 1 at Bell and we had to
take the 3 week old kids out from Nutrien. Peter picked them u p from site and we fed them at my house till Doctor Court could pick them up later in day. ( we did not do all these rescues, ourselves; our rehab lady helped , as did the mangers of the Genesee and nutrien sites, two city police officers rescued at Bell and we had help from security at U of A . It takes a village but we are usually keep them and hand them over to Gord, or people who find them take them to the rehab, so when I say we, I mean our city village o f people) . )

I am getting older and do not know how much longer i can go at this pace . It has been heartbreaking at times , but at same time, we ere able to save so many .,and they are out at hack site. We will be going out there this week to watch them fly and hunt

and then I will take a very long break.

I hope you will enjoy and learn also.

I forgot to say the sites are in Canada, under Edmonton -sites are WEBER , AGRIUM, BELL , U OF A, mISCERCORDIA) and under a separate Canadian site, Genesee site.

have a great long weekend . we are sopping wet :girlcrazy: and I do not think summer i s ever coming our way

Thanks for all your efforts, Bev. Boots on the ground is not a job for the faint of heart. It is hard work, involving long days of watching and tracking the youngsters to keep them safe. And to think you and Peter did MULTIPLE nest sites. WOW! You are a trooper.

08/15 I was away for 3 days I do not know what happened to the Egyptian Goose Kazarka in Leiden.

Unfortunately, she was away all day and we will no longer watch young geese. :tissue:

On the network I found the last movie from her from 08/12

The camera was down for a couple of days. During those days the eggs hatched and the goslings fledged.
